Summary0000016: Windows Vista & Windows 7 fail to boot in UEFI mode via QEMU
DescriptionWindows Vista and Windows 7 support UEFI on older systems, but in the VM configuration the UEFI implementation can't run correctly for those operating systems. There are a number of projects that try to address this (such as UEFIseven), but they may not be appropriate resolutions for users bringing their own ISOs or physical discs.
Steps To Reproduce1. Attempt to install a Windows Vista or Windows 7 VM in UEFI
2. It will fail.
Additional InformationCurrently, SE is installing these in Legacy BIOS mode.
